Impressive and functional executive desk by Clausen and Maerus, designed for the Dutch ‘Eden’ furniture company. It is made out of teak and has three drawers, three roll-top cabinets in the top and compartments at the back. The top still offers a large space to write at. There were three sizes of the same model to choose from at the time, this is the largest.
Imagine this fine crafted vintage desk as your ideal, comfortable working spot with all your tools and stuff nearby that can be easily put away in one of the large compartments. And ofcourse all drawers and compartments can be locked in one movement thanks to the perfect working central locking system!
Provenance; this desk was used at an Amsterdam stock brokers office during the fifties.
