This well-known Swedish lighting manufacturer was founded in the 1940ies by Bertil Svensson under the name Fagerhults Elektriska. During the seventies the company changed its name to AB Fagerhults.
The company developed a number of sleek lighting designs, among others these metal and glass sconces. The thick wire glass gives the lights a very durable appearance and evoke a great 1980ies atmosphere. Direct light is diffused by a perforated metal diffuser that is placed behind the glass. Easy-mounted on the wall thanks to the iron fixture. Each sconce has a holder for a PL bulb ( also available in LED ). Made for built-in-wiring, but there is also possibility for a wire coming out of the fixture.
Great opportunity here to buy an identical set of 5, all in good condtion, no chips in the glass and all is working perfect. Manufacturers mark inside.
