Together with Stilnovo and Arredoluce, Arteluce was a significant part of the first wave Italian companies that was capable of mass-producing innovative, functional lighting. The company was founded in 1939 by Gino Sarfatti, who created most of the designs.

Here offered a rare model 225 wall sconce. The shade is made of thick anodized aluminium, off white inside. Brass arm and suspension. Original E27 bulb holder, wiring renewed. All parts have been inspected and cleaned, the light is in very good condition with minor usermarks. Manufacturers label inside the shade. Literature source: ‘Gino Sarfatti Selected Works 1938-1973’.
