During the 1960ies Iguzzini develloped this small mushroom shaped table light, called ‘Bugia’. It is quite heavy, completely made of metal. There is an E14 light source hidden under the movable dome shade that’s hinged on both sides attached to the base which makes it easy to adjust the light source.
Very beautiful Italian design icon of the 20th century, in a good condition.

In the early fifties, the sons of Mariano Guzzini founded a small Italian company, ‘Harvey Creazioni’. The name is a reference to Harvey, the invisible imaginary friend of James Stewart in the film ‘Harvey’ ( 1950 ). After first producing artistic brass objects, the production later was supplemented by the manufacture of lighting equipment in plastic.
