In the early fifties, the sons of Mariano Guzzini founded a small Italian company, ‘Harvey Creazioni’. The name is a reference to Harvey, the invisible imaginary friend of James Stewart in the film ‘Harvey’ ( 1950 ). After first producing artistic brass objects, the production later was supplemented by the manufacture of lighting equipment in plastic.

Luigi Massoni was given the task of developing and coordinating the image of the products. In 1972 he created this glossy Italian mushroom table light, called ‘Brumburry’. It is made of a Chrome-plated / white metal base with a plastic shade. The lamp has four lightsources: three under the shade, and one in the middle, hidden inside the half-sphere. They can lit separate thanks to the multi-switch.

Iconic Italian design of the 20th century, in a great condition with minimal wear.
