Danish midcentury small sideboard / dresser, designed by Kai Kristiansen and made by cabinetmaker Aksel Kjersgaard in Odder Denmark, early 1960s. Fantastic true Skandinavian details such as the sleek circular recessed pulls, the facet shaped solid teak legs and the dove tail wood joints. The fantastic grain of the body reminds of walnut veneer. Height of the storage space behind the doors is 20 cm.
Together with designers such as Borge Mogensen and Hans Wegner, Kai Kristiansen created worldwide respect for Danish furniture design.
Excellent condition, very minor usermarks. Cleaned and matt oil re-finish by original methods.
