1960ies Tulip table, designed by Eero Saarinen. Many producers have made tulip chairs and tables under licence, for example by Pastoe, Netherlands. This table is not signed whatsoever, but has all the Knoll hallmarks; the base is made out of plastic coated aluminium, the top is made of wood with a formica top layer and the wood of the top has been milled along the edge from 3 to 1 cm thickness.
The ultimate iconic dining table of mid-century design, this Saarinen Tulip Table by Knoll. As opposed to traditional tables with legs, this Tulip table allows maximum freedom of movement thanks to its heavy and steady pedestal base.
