Graceful glass vase lamp by Murano glass.
Heavy hand-moulded colored vase with fixture holding a refined cylindrical fabric shade. The shade diffuses the light scource very well and provides a warm light reflecting on the colored glass, the brass and the surroundings. These lights were produced in several sizes during the fifties. This one has a very modest size.

Murano glass is made on the Venetian island of Murano, Italy, which has specialized in producing traditional hand-moulded vases, bowls and chandeliers. For centuries Murano is developing and refining technologies such as producing crystalline, multicolored, and enamelled glass.
