Great opportunity if you are looking for the original sixties Oyster chair to refurbish! Here offered the orignal old version of the ‘Little Oyster’ ( F 156 ) design Pierre Paulin for Artifort, Netherlands, early 1960s. ( So not the recent larger and different reproduction ) This model was only produced for a short time during the 1960s and is a sought-after Paulin collector item nowadays. Perfect original old type frame ( nickel-plated, not glossy chromed ) in a fantastic condition; not re-welded, not cracked, not rusted. Still has the original fabric which is in quite a good shape, but the inner foam needs to be replaced. The metal tag is from the furniture shop that delivered the chair at the time. The old fabric will be a perfect template for reupholstery, but in fact, the chair is still very comfortable in this condition as well.
