Characteristic 1980ies Dutch design icon; Black leather and steel Pastoe Cube Chair.
This type of chair has been produced in a range of colors and types of upholstery, such as canvas, wood or linen. The chair offered here has a thick black leather seat and back! Very strong but supple leather with normal usermarks. And despite the angular shape of the iron Rietveld-like construction this chair is surprisingly comfortable! Together with Artifort, Spectrum and Gispen, Pastoe was one of the leaders in producing modernist furniture from the 1950ies-1980ies.
