This clever designed dining table offers space for 6 chairs. The both ‘leafs’ can fold out and the surface of the ellipse top will be 142 x 162 cm. You can fold back the table literally in a few seconds, or keep one leaf open and put the straight side of the table against the wall.
This true Danish icon is called model 20/59 and was designed by Peter Hvidt and Mølgaard Nielsen and produced by France and søn during the fifties. The complete table is made out of solid teak wood, also the top. The complete table has been cleaned, oiled and inspected well, all is functioning, no parts are cracked, worn out or heavily discolored and all is original with minor usermarks. Metal sign under top ‘France and Son’.
Together with designers such as Borge Mogensen, Hans Wegner and Arne Jacobsen, Peter Hvidt created worldwide respect for Danish furniture design.
