Both very good condition with minor marks. Subtle shaped light that will bring a touch of fifties atmosphere in your home.
Together with the brass Z lamp this typical Dutch designed Philips light is one of his most characteristic designs and it can compete with the 1950ies designs of Stilnovo, Hala and Anvia.

From the mid-1920s to 1960 Dutch designer Louis Kalff established the advertising and design section of Philips. Kalff also designed the ‘Evoluon’ conference centre / museum of Eindhoven. This building is unique due to its futuristic sixties design, also resembling a flying saucer. Nowadays, some Kalff lighting designs are quite hard to find and being collected all over the world.
