For about 40 years, famous industrial designer Friso Kramer ( 1922 ) worked as an industrial designer for a number of Dutch and German companies.
Today, his work is probably one of the most appreciated of its kind, and particulary the pieces developed during the fifties have become true collector items which are wanted all over the world.
Friso Kramer can be referred to in the same sentence as designers like Wim Rietveld, W.A. Gispen and Cees Braakman. A retrospective exhibition of his work was held in the ‘Boijmans van Beuningen Museum’ Rotterdam and in the ‘Stedelijk Museum’ in Amsterdam.

This mirror case is a hard to find piece of furniture Friso Kramer designed for Auping.
Very attractive organic shaped design, and in perfect condition; no chips in the glass, and the plywood looks great too.
