Very powerful square and aesthetic table design, this PK61. Designed in 1956 and still a very desireable piece. The removable granite tabletop keeps stable on the heavy, solid metal frame just by it’s weight and gravity. The base is made of satin-brushed steel, and signed with the EKC die cast logo.
When entering a room which has Kjaerholm furniture in it, it’s sometimes hard to tell how long this furniture has been there, it could be a few years, it could be over 50 years: the combination of high-end quality material and sophisticated design makes a Kjaerholm probably one of the most sustainable pieces of furniture in every sense of the word.
Good condition, small chips on the edge. Chrome is perfect. Other side of the top has a rough, brown colored stone structure. When shipped the table comes with a very good packing service.
