Stylish and elegant Raak pendant. This light is called ‘springfontein’ ( fountain ) and was designed by Bertrand Balas. Together with a.o. E.J. Jelles and Frank Ligtelijn he was member of the Raak design team during the early seventies.
The light consist of a metal fixture holding a E27 bulbholder. The light is suitable to be a downlight for above a table, and a bit of diffused light also reflects on the inside reflector part.
At the time there were a few sizes and colors which could be choose from. This is the plain aluminium version. Thanks to it’s neutral, elementary shape and lack of very present colors, this light will adapt easy in almost any type of interior.
The surface of the aluminium has some usermarks consistent with age. Ready for use, electrical parts are checked.
