In the early fifties, the sons of Mariano Guzzini founded a small Italian company, ‘Harvey Creazioni’. The name is a reference to Harvey, the invisible imaginary friend of James Stewart in the film ‘Harvey’ ( 1950 ). After first producing artistic brass objects, the production later was supplemented by the manufacture of plastic lighting and household articles.
