Classic design icon, this 1950ies metal and glass ceiling light by Stilnovo, model 288. It is the oldest version, looking at the old type bulbholders and the ceiling cap. The shade is made of black aluminium, and holding a white opaline glass diffuser. Great condition, complete with all the suspension parts. No dents or damages, and wiring replaced through the whole fixture ( the black wire is fabric-covered wire with plastic core, so the old fashion looks and modern safety ). The light has six normal E 27 bulbholders, suitable for modern LED. Together with Arteluce and Arredoluce, Stilnovo was a significant part of the first innovating Italian lighting companies of the 20th century.
