The brown teak veneer, the cut out top and the organic accents gives this desk all the mid-century hallmarks. The characteristic solid teak V shaped leg gives a floating appearance to the top.

The forward-thinking of Dutch designers such as Cees Braakman paved the way of success for a number of Dutch furniture companies. Clearly inspired by designs of Danish furniture makers, Pastoe, Fristho, and Tijsseling introduced the use of prefab board into their first line of modern furniture.
