Early fifties modernist floor light. Metal base, metal stand and a metal balance arm with a light weight metal shade. Very subtle color combination black / off white, with metal details. The design is clearly influenced by the famous ‘Panama’ floor light by Wim Rietveld; this is probably a Philips, Anvia or Herda product, but nevertheless a very charming example of the reflection of that particular design era. And quality made too.
This one is in very good condition, and perfect working order. Normal traces consistent with age, no dents in the shade.
All electrical parts have been checked or replaced by original materials.
The metal parts are unpolished vintage condition, but can polished up to matt-chrome if desired.
