A stunning circular revolving table by designer and artist Willy Rizzo. This table is made in an attractive cream-white and ‘glamorous’ brass accent combination. Very desirable and luxury piece of furniture; Rizzo regretted the upcoming flow of mass production at the time and many of his designs are made of durable ‘honest’ materials.The idea to the circular shape of this table occured to Rizzo when he got the order to design a table for his friend’s home ( Ghigi Cassini ), which had a round room in it’s residence. Rizzo’s exclusive designs were sold in his own furniture shops in New York, Paris and London during the seventies. This table fits perfectly in a foyer or lounge room in home and office.
Overall nice condition, the laminated top has very less wear. The brass bucket has really great patina consistent with age. The brass-plated border has some visible scratches ( see pictures ).
