Beautiful slender shaped metal table light by modernist lighting company Cosack, Germany. The shade of light has a very soft yellow color, which compliments the brass and black details very well.
This functional and minimal design is very symbolic for midcentury modernism. Looking at the organic ‘floral’ details this fine piece of lighting truly can compete in quality and finishing details with many other European lighting designs by for example Arteluce and Stilnovo.
Very good condition, all electrical parts have been checked. Light source one E-27 bulb holder, suitable for modern max 250 volt LED lights.
German lighting company Cosack became succesful developing a number of very elegant lighting designs during the 1950ies. Their products have become exemplary for midcentury modern lighting design nowadays, most of them are quite hard to find and the designs are being collected all over the world.
